The decade later ‘Mungaru Male 2’ in the craftsmanship of reputed director Shashank is moving on glorious route for September 9 release. A fine making so far, songs turning out super hit for the film of Gangadhar as producer ‘MM 2’ comes up with a novel on the day of release. At Gold Finch Hotel, Golden star Ganesh, Neha Shetty, Shilpa Manjunath starring film novel cover page was released by Smt Shilpa Ganesh. Mr Joshi a veteran journalist of two decades is the author of this screenplay converted as novel. The curtain raiser recalling decade ago ‘MM’ and to the present day MM 2 was also displayed in the media meet by director Shashank.


The happy news for worldwide release of ‘Mungaru Male 2’ is reputed distributor Gokul Films has taken up distribution. It is around 350 screens in Karnataka.


Golden star Ganesh recalling his 120 days said the team was not taken for granted at any point of time. The distribution right also coming up very huge shows the demand it has created.


Neha Shetty in her debut feels that she has to live up to the expectations of ‘Male’ (Rain) Hudugi. Shilpa Manjunath feels the opportunity is a blessing. I am sure this film would get fine reviews and I am ready with scissors to cut and keep in my shelf.


For a bench mark cinema I have done cinematography. We have shot in almost same places including Jog Falls, expectations are high from audience stated Shekar Chandru a very silent cameraman.


Bharat Jain of Jhankar Audio remembered the days of getting audio when there was no money, he wants the audio rights of ‘Mungaru Male 3’ at this point of time.


Executive producer of ‘Mungaru Male’ Gangadhar now producer of ‘Mungaru Male 2’ remembered media support for ‘Mungaru Male’ and said he registered MM 2 in 2007. As Yogaraj Bhat was busy and plans got a new change. Finally we convinced Shashank who did Moggina Manasu to take up project.


Gokulraj Films proprietor speaking on this occasion says it is very big project and getting opportunity to release, he is quite happy. Shashank is trump card of this film he observed. I am seeing Kabali time vibrations for this film MM 2 he pointed.


It is a overlap technique for designs says designer Sai Krishna. I have seen lot of maturity in Ganesh observing closely. This is an upgraded version he opines.


Crossing various thoughts, we have moved to release time. The challenge is when I was offered for MM 2. Now I feel we could do it like this with the super hit previous film title. The popular film title going to other directors is seen in other languages. The why not make a film for acceptance strengthened me. I always felt content is very important says Shashank.


Joshi veteran journalist feels it is a very major stage in his life. Writing MM 2 as novel is only because the film having such qualities in the contents.
